As an extension of our Home Gardens program, we work with partner sites to build and sustain food-producing gardens for low-income communities. Some of our partners include affordable housing facilities, residential treatment centers, and church communities. Each program is designed in collaboration with community stakeholders based on the unique assets and goals of each community.
Growing Gardens partnerships typically include the following:
- Facilitation of planning sessions with community stakeholders
- Garden installation
- Gardening consultation and classes for all ages
- Seeds, plant starts, tools, Garden Manual
- Collaborative fundraising
